Hello everyone my name is Sneha and today’s training is about how to use your referral ID in a URL. First, you will need your unique referral code. You can find this code in the email that our team has sent to you. Or you can find this code in your Cheers Video Mail account. To find this code in your account, click on the drop-down next to your name in the top right corner and select my referral profile. The following page will display and this is where you will see your referral code.
Once you have your code, refer back to the email we sent you with the sample URL. The area highlighted in red here is where you will insert your code. This will ensure that whoever follows it is recognized as having been referred by you. This is an example of what your URL will look like.
The target URL is a specific page on the Cheers Video Mail website that you can direct visitors to. For example, if you want to send them to the free trial page, this is what the link will look like. You can do this with any page on our website. You just want to copy everything in the URL up until the backslash.
If you would simply like to send people to the home page of our website, just copy this portion of the URL that goes up to your referral ID code.
If you would like to send people directly to the registration page, you can use this URL. When they visit this link, your unique code will automatically display in the referral code section of the signup form.
To use this referral code in your emails, you can create a link with your URL behind it so that the entire URL doesn’t display. In the message editor, highlight the piece of text that you want to add your URL to. Then click on the insert link icon. Paste your URL in the URL field. Tool tip is the text that display when someone hovers over the link. This can be the same as the text field.
If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact our team.
Cheers!
