Cheers Video Mail’s message editor has a lot of functionalities that sets it apart from other generic message editors. You have the ability to including templates, snippets, links, videos, images, and documents to your emails.

Upcoming videos will demonstrate how easy it is include any of the cheers video mail features into your message, how to send a message to a group of people and how to add custom tags. Message scheduling and sending  messages will also be discussed. Lastly, privacy options and message tracking/statistics will also be introduced. 

You can start a new message by clicking on the “Compose Message” icon at the top of the page, or you can go to messages on the left navigation bar and select inbox and then click on “Compose Email”. You can start by adding recipients. You can click on the plus sign to create a new contact to add to your recipients, you can click on the orange icon to select a receipt from your contact list or you can select a group by clicking on the green icon.

 Give your message a title. This is an identifier that is only visible to you. Give your message a subject. Click on the subject custom tags if you wish to insert tags into the subject line such as a first name.

In the body of the message, there are a lot of icons and functions that you can use. If you are copying and pasting text, it is recommended that you click on “Paste From Word” as it will help you to eliminate any formatting. To add a link, click on the “Insert Link Icon”. Next, you can insert an E-mail address or a URL. Copy and paste the URL and Add text that you want to display in the body. Tool tip is the text that will display when you hover over the link. You can choose the link to be opened in a new tab. To insert an image to your message from your computer, gallery or from the web, click on the “Insert Image” icon. Click on browse to look for your image and then click OK. You can also customize the size and position of the image by checking off more options. You can also insert an image that you have uploaded to your library by clicking on the “Insert Library Image” icon. A dialog box with all your library images will open up and you can select the desired one and then click insert. You can also double click on the image to insert it. Please note you can also customize the dimensions of your image by either adjusting the width or the height. The other element will auto adjust.

To add a video to your message, you can click on “Insert Video From Library”. You will see a list of your pre recorded videos. Select the desired one and click insert. You also have the option to immediately record and upload a video and you can do that by clicking on the “Record Video” button. Mini studio will pop up and you can simply record your video and click on save and upload. 

To add a document to your message, click on “Link library documents”. Then you can browse your uploaded documents, select the desired one and then click link. 

You can also attach a document. Please note that each attached document counts as a sent message from your allocated emails per month. 2 attached documents to a message will count as a total of 3 sent messages. This is why it’s highly recommended that you use the library documents.

To insert a snippet, click on the “Snippet” button. You can select the snippet you want to add to your message and click insert. 

To add a template to your message, Click on “Insert Template”. A list of templates will appear for you to select from. Select your desired template and click insert. You can replace all the content in the editor by checking off “Overwrite All Content”

If you are sending a message to multiple people you can add a tag to custom the greeting. Click on the custom tag drop down to select a tag.

You have a few privacy options before you send your message. “Allow public View” allows recipients to view the video without authentication. Therefore, if you send a video to your contact and they chose to forward it to somebody else, they will be able to watch your video. If you want to prevent that, you can do so by checking of “Mark As Private”. You can control whether recipients can reply or forward your message. You can also check off “Copy Me” to receive a copy of the message. 

You can now save and send your message right away, save and schedule it to be sent on a specific day/time or save it as a draft. 

In your sent items, you will be able to view all your sent messages and not only that; You can also view the statistics.

You can see how many of your recipients read your message, how many of them played your videos and how many times they played it and if they clicked on the links if you had any. 

In addition to that, if you click on the dashboard, you will be able to track your messages. For instance, you will be able to view when someone opens your message and plays your videos. You can also look at your monthly statistics and overall rate of messages.
